Hajirah

This AFM project aims to teach English and computer skills to outcast girls to integrate them back into society, provide them with hope, and introduce them to the Savior.

AFM has ministered to the Hajirah of the Middle East since 2016.

About the People

Hajirah girls, once sold into slavery, are being redeemed one by one and returned to their families. So-called “honor killings” by family members have been forbidden, yet these girls remain outcasts and without prospects due to the shame they have endured. The Hajirah are a completely unreached people group in the heart of the Middle East, and now by God’s providence, a door has opened to ministry among these people.

About the Project

AFM personnel will teach these outcast girls English and computer skills to integrate them back into society and provide them with hope. In the course of these daily contacts, the AFM personnel will be able to build trust and point the Hajirah girls and their families to the Savior of the world, who will one day wipe away every tear.
