Come with us!
AFM MISSION TRIP 2026
After years of partnership with the Mangyan tribes of Occidental Mindoro, AFM is organizing a new mission trip in 2026. This is an opportunity to witness firsthand how God is transforming lives through indigenous church-planting movements—and to join hands with local believers in bringing hope, healing, and encouragement to remote villages.
Between April 19 and May 6, 2026 (travel time included), our team will serve among Alangan and Tawbuid communities.
This trip is open to participants from across Europe who are mission-minded, adaptable, and ready to serve wholeheartedly. If you know someone who would love this kind of experience, please pass this invitation along!
Five places are reserved for returning participants, and 15 spots are open for new volunteers who have a heart for missions and a readiness to serve in a cross-cultural setting.
Who We Need on the Team
1. MEDICAL TEAM
We are looking for a strong medical team capable of serving hundreds of patients. Our goal is:
– 5 dentists
– 6 additional medical professionals, such as a pediatrician, a clinician experienced with pulmonary/respiratory diseases, general medicine doctors or nurses.
Common medical needs include respiratory diseases, giardiasis, skin infections, children with chronic conditions, and severe dental decay requiring extractions. The work is demanding but deeply rewarding.
2. CONSTRUCTION TEAM
We need 8 people ready to help build a simple village church. Together with local believers, this team will:
– Erect a wooden frame
– Install metal roofing
– Add bamboo/wood siding
– (If time allows) build benches and a pulpit
This church will bless an entire community for many years to come.
3. CHILDREN’S MINISTRY TEAM
We also invite 1–2 participants who love working with children.
Every village is filled with kids who are eager to sing, learn, and participate in activities. You will help lead songs, Bible stories, crafts, and small games.
Cost and Logistics
Total cost: 2,000 EUR
This amount includes:
– Round-trip plane tickets
– In-country transportation

Important Requirements
Participants must:

This trip requires humility, teamwork, and a willingness to face unpredictable situations. But it also brings deep joy, spiritual growth, and unforgettable testimonies of God’s power.
Where We Will Serve
The Mangyan tribes are among the most gentle and peace-loving people you will ever meet. For decades, AFM missionaries have partnered with them in church planting, leadership development, education, and medical ministry. Today, the indigenous leaders have planted 45 churches across four tribes, with more than 2,700 baptized believers—a living church-planting movement.
You will work side-by-side with these inspiring leaders, hearing miracle stories and witnessing God at work among people who are wholeheartedly embracing the gospel.
Want to Support Even if You Cannot Go?
If you cannot join the trip but still want to help, you can support by giving toward:
– Medicine (we use large quantities daily)
– Children’s ministry materials
– Small toys and activity supplies
– Construction materials for the village church
Your support will directly impact hundreds of children and adults who have almost no access to medical care and very limited resources.
