AFM Europe is organizing an intensive, practical and theoretical cross-cultural mission training program.
This training is specifically designed to prepare the short-term missionaries sent by AFM Europe, but it can also be highly valuable for other groups who wish to gain a deeper understanding of cross-cultural missions: pastors, missionaries working in unreached areas, or individuals with a clear calling to mission service.
The training covers the following topics:

Discipleship

Spiritual warfare and cultural conflict dynamics

Understanding worldview

Language acquisition and cultural adaptation

Team dynamics and conflict resolution

Church planting movements
-
Interactive elements and surprise activities
Main trainers:
Laurence Burn
Missiologist, AFM Training Director, and Project Supervisor.
Former chaplain at Andrews University, with decades of international mission experience, mentoring and leadership development in a mission context.
Dale Goodson
Served for 11 years as a missionary with his family in Papua New Guinea among the Dowa and Ama tribes.
Currently Development Representative and Training Assistant with AFM.
Actively involved in developing mission teams and practical field preparation.
John Holbrook
Career missionary, raised in a missionary family in the Philippines.
Since 2011, has led church planting projects among multiple tribes on the island of Mindoro.
Project Supervisor and AFM trainer, specializing in local leadership development and community transformation.
